Catherine Rebecca Waldrep, 25, passed away on September 30, 2025. She was born on April 10, 2000, and in her short but meaningful life, she brought warmth, laughter, and light to those who knew her. Catherine was a devoted mother to her son, Deacon Taylor, who was born on December 6, 2022.
Her greatest joy was found in caring for him and watching him grow. She will be remembered for her generous spirit and beautiful smile. She is survived by her parents, Tom and Ellen Waldrep; her siblings Kerry Waldrep (Matt Coury), Mimi Waldrep, Brian Waldrep, Megan-Eileen Waldrep (Jose Castillo), Matt Waldrep (Megan Foster), Michael Waldrep and her nieces and nephews; as well as her son, Deacon. Catherine’s memory will live on through her family and all who were fortunate enough to know her.
A visitation will be held at 10:00 am followed by an 11:00 am mass on Saturday, October 4, 2025 at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church.
