Catherine Roloson Obituary
Family and friends may call from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday (Dec. 4) at Coe-Genung Funeral Home, 46 W. Main St., Waterloo, N.Y.
The memorial service will immediately follow at 4 p.m. at the funeral home. Rev. Dale Andrews, pastor of the Geneva Assembly of God, will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Huron, N.Y.
In lieu of flowers, condolences and remembrances may be sent to Beverly Animal Shelter, 50 East River Rd., Waterloo, N.Y. 13165.
Catherine was born July 30, 1935 in Alton, N.Y., the daughter of James R. and Marjorie Cartwright Garner. She began working at Cady Stanton as an employee in the cafeteria. Leaving employment at the school, she began working for Ocrum, later known as Guaranteed Parts, until the plant closed. Then, she worked at Matthews International, and later DeCicca Insurance Co., as a secretary until retirement. Catherine greatly enjoyed ceramics and volunteered for Country Bumpkins 4-H.
Catherine is survived by sons; James (Sally) Roloson of Seneca Falls, N.Y., Richard (Michelle) Roloson of Richland Town, Pa., and Dale (Karen) Roloson of Seneca Falls, N.Y., daughter; Sandra Landuyt of Clifton Springs, N.Y., 16 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her loving husband; Ronald Floyd Roloson, in 2018, brothers; George Garner and Raymond Garner, sister; Evelyn Buss and step-sister; Helen Moulton.
