Catherine Carol Shary

Willow Spring- Catherine Carol Shary, 30, passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2024, at Rex Hospital in Holly Springs, NC, with her mom and sister by her side. Catherine was born on April 6th, 1993, in Newton, NJ. She attended High Point Regional High School and adored her teachers and aides. Catherine spent much of her life growing up on Culver Lake, NJ. She enjoyed horseback riding and loved a horse named Charlie. The name Charlie would then be a common word in her vocabulary- giving it to her favorite stuffed bear that she took wherever she went. Although Catherine's vocabulary was limited, she knew how to communicate how much she loved her friends and family. She was always eager to say hello, dance to music, laugh and give kisses.
A celebration of Catherine's life will be held at 4:00 PM on Tuesday, January 30th in the chapel of Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier.
Catherine is preceded in death by her father, Frank M Shary. She is survived by her loving mother and caretaker Lynn Forster, sister Elizabeth (Joseph) Margiotta, nieces Marguerite & Anna Margiotta of Willow Spring, NC, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
