Catherine J. Stevens, 63 of Lorain was called Home to be with her Lord on October 7, 2025. She was born in Elyria, Ohio on December 13, 1961. Catherine was a God-fearing woman who was a faithful servant and was very active in Freedom House Church. She was a good person who always was willing to help others. Catherine loved music, dancing, and being the life of the party – everyone knew when she was there! She also was a die-hard Cleveland Browns fan. Above all else, Catherine was a loving mother and grandmother and she will be missed by all who knew her.

Catherine is survived by her loving children, Eric Myrick (Carli Ward), Anthony Myrick (Heather Mastrangelo), and Stephanie Gunn (Jeremy); dear grandchildren, Eric Myrick, II, Anthony J. Myrick, II, Braylon Myrick, Elyssa Myrick, Jakob Myrick, Malia Myrick, and Jrue Gunn; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Betty Jean Stevens; and siblings, Barbara Pitts, Georgia, Wanda, Teresa, and Johnny Stevens.

No services are planned at this time.
