CHARLOTTE- Catherine Michelle "Shelly" Triantis passed away at home on July 29, 2025. She was preceded in death by her father, Phillip Triantis; paternal grandparents, Trifon and Catherine Triantis; and maternal grandparents, Bill and Frances Meisenheimer.

She is survived by her son, Jackson Spooner, and her partner of 26 years, Gregory Spooner.

She is also survived by her mother, Kathy Triantis; her sisters, Alicia Francis (Zach) and Jennifer Triantis; and her second "mom," Sheila Spooner.

She leaves behind her beloved nephews, Myles and Bennett Francis, and Mikey Porcelli, as well as her nieces, Jessica Hough and Meaghan Gaddy.

Shelly was a loving mother, partner, sister, and daughter.

She had a deep love for animals, especially cats-there was not a stray she didn't feed or take in. She enjoyed music, especially the Backstreet Boys and New Kids on the Block, whom she finally got to see in concert last year.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, August 1, 2025, at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to a trust fund being established for her son. The family can be contacted in a few weeks for further details.

May her memory be eternal.
