Cathryn Marie Mallett Fuselier, beloved wife, mother, sister, and grandmother, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love and devotion.
Born to Leola Mary Benoit and Wilfred James Mallett, Cathy was a loving wife to Taylor Fuselier and a devoted sister to Lee Mallett of Iowa, Janet Fuselier and her husband James of Hawaii, Alice Fay Hinton of Iowa, and sister-in-law Diane Mallett.
Cathy dedicated her life to caring for others. She lovingly raised her children-Gabrielle Fuselier, Jacqueline Mallett of Oklahoma, the late Marcus Mallett, and Danielle Mallett of Iowa. She cherished all of her grandchildren and took special pride in raising Hailee, Kaidan, and Louisianna. She also loved and supported her other grandchildren-Keagan, Trey, Jaiden, and Taylor-always offering each of them love, guidance, and support.
After her mother's passing, Cathy became the glue that held the family together. Known for her caring heart, she spent countless years supporting her parents and her brother Michael, giving him exceptional care until his final day. She always put the needs of others before her own.
Cathy gladly worked for her brother, Lee Mallett, and took great pride in helping wherever she was needed.
Cathy's heart, compassion, and lifelong dedication to her family will be deeply missed but forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
The family will hold a Celebration of Life in honor of Cathryn on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at the home of Chester Lee Mallett, 21059 S. Frontage Rd., Iowa, Louisiana 70647, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friends and family are invited to gather, share memories, celebrate her beautiful spirit, and pay their respects.
