Cathy Diane Perry, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on January 16, 2024, in Somerset, Kentucky at the Lake Cumberland Reginal Hospital. She was born on November 29, 1960, in Jellico, Tennessee. Cathy's departure leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Cathy was an exceptional woman who took pride in her career as a machine operator at OVC. With dedication and a tireless work ethic, she approached each day with passion and commitment. Her colleagues remember her as a reliable and skilled professional who always went the extra mile. She was a member of the New Liberty United Baptsit Church.
Outside of work, Cathy found joy in her hobbies and interests. She had an insatiable love for puzzles that challenged her mind and provided hours of entertainment. However, above all else, it was spending time with her grandchildren that brought Cathy the greatest happiness. Courtney Meadows, Abby Meadows, held a special place in their grandma's heart.
Family meant everything to Cathy. She shared a deep bond with her husband Gary L. Perry whom she cherished throughout their years together. Their love served as an inspiration to all who witnessed it. Cathy was also a devoted mother to Arron Perry, Chastity Perry and husband Randy, and Jeanetta Perry. Her unwavering support encouraged them to reach for their dreams and face life's challenges head-on. She also leaves behind a brother; Donald and wife Lisa Wyatt and their children; DJ, Jonathan, William, Joseph and Noah.
Cathy leaves behind fond memories that will forever remain etched in the hearts of those she loved dearly. She was preceded in death by her father James E. Wyatt and mother Mary Joyce (Cox) Wyatt.
