Cathy Jo Satter

Cathy Jo (Hale) Satter passed away at the young age of 47 on Saturday, June 8, 2024 at St. Cloud Hospital in St. Cloud, Minnesota, due to leukemia.
 
She was born on August 17, 1976 to Donald and Mary (Buckett) Hale in Marengo, Iowa. She moved with her family to Stanchfield, Minnesota in 1983 and graduated from Westview High School in Braham, Minnesota in 1995. She worked at Grand Casino in Hinckley in the housekeeping department.
 
Her boyfriend Matt Nemitz was a huge part of her life and keeping her safe. She absolutely loved pugs and Mickey Mouse, I think she got the love for Mickey from her big sister Shelly.
 
Cathy is survived by her significant other Matt Nemitz of Onamia; brothers Richard Hale of Mora, Charles (Erica) Hale of Cumberland, Wisconsin; half brothers James Teter of Milaca, Dale (Jennifer) Teter of Anoka; aunt Darlene White of St. Louis Park; other relatives and friends.
 
She was preceded in death by her father Donald Hale; mother Mary Hale; and sister Shelly Hale.
 
Funeral services for Cathy 2 PM; Friday, June 21, 2024 at the Swanson Funeral Chapel, with one hour of visitation for friends and family prior to the service. The interment will take place in Birchwood Cemetery, Pine City.
