Many moons ago, I had just given birth to triplets and I needed to get back into shape. I hired a personal trainer and that trainer was Cathy! I opened the door to this beautiful soul with a huge smile and that was the beginning of a long friendship. We didn't have to see each other often but when we did we picked right up where we had left off. Cathy was that kind of friend, the best kind. Recently I had the pleasure of making a cross in her studio with her supervision. There was so much hope in the studio that day... my heart is broken that this lovely person was taken from us too soon. I am a better person because I knew Cathy. I will try to remember to smile at everyone who passes me because that was something she would do. Rest in peace my friend, until we meet again.

Knowing Cathy, a fellow glass artist and friend, has been an honor. I will never forget her gentle voice over the phone, sincerity, and kindness. We spoke every month or so during the last 7 years I knew her, troubleshooting the challenges of the industry of art glass. Her genius will always be remembered in the art glass world. She inspired all who knew her. Those lucky enough to live with one of her art glass creations are blessed to live with her beauty in perpetuity. The Angel Wing series is one of my favorites; she now wears them in her new realm. May her memories live on in our hearts forever and comfort those grieving the loss of her beauty and presence in this physical realm.

Cathy and I had a connection from the first day we met over 25 years ago. She always had a beautiful smile and such a positive outlook on life. She was an amazing artist and I was fortunate to represent her gorgeous work in my gallery. I will miss dearly and send love and strength to her family and friends.

Cathy and I met in grade school in Crystal Lake, IL and remained friends until her family moved to Texas. She always had a positive attitude, a great laugh and a caring heart. Ironically we moved to the Flower Mound area in 2014. If I knew Cathy lived here I would have reached out. I have no doubt she is smiling down on those she loved.
