Cecelia K. Reddy

Cecelia K. Reddy, 92, passed away on October 11, 2025, at her residence in Franklin, Massachusetts. She was born in Boston, Massachusetts on March 23, 1933.
Cecelia was the beloved wife of the late Bernard Reddy who passed away in 2014. She was the youngest daughter of Martin and Celia (McGee) Kilgallon. Cecelia was preceded in death by her sisters Eleanor, Anne, Dorothy, Katherine, and Marjorie, and her brother Martin.
She is survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Cecelia had a long career as an educator after graduating from Framingham State College. Upon retirement from Norwood Jr. High School, Cecelia and Bernie relocated to Florida where they lived for many years. She recently returned to Massachusetts to be closer to her family.
Cecelia was active in church and prison ministry through St. Timothy's Parish in Norwood, Mass. She remained active in church ministry when she moved to Florida. Cecelia enjoyed traveling with Bernie, her volunteer activities, and an active retirement life with friends in Florida.
Her funeral mass will be held at St. Mary Church in Franklin Wednesday, November 5 at 10:00.
Burial will be in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne Thursday, November 6 at 1:15.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in her memory to Independent Association of Framingham State Alumni (IAFSA) 42 Adams Road, Framingham, MA 01702-2456, or to a charity of your choice.
