Annette Gutierrez Entered Eternal Rest: October 3, 2025
Our beloved mother, Annette Smith, went home to her Heavenly Father on the evening of October 3, 2025. She passed peacefully, surrounded by love and the presence of her family.
Annette was a devoted mother to her three children and grandmother to her ten grandchildren—Sarah (Kevin) children Jaden (Karla), Alex, Lane, Eva, Kevy, Sabastian), Dale (children Jacoy, Avery, Towns)and Dallas (child Dallas) each of whom carry forward her legacy of kindness, strength, and faith. She was also survived by her brothers and sisters - Lupe (Alfonso) Lopez, Melvin (Elida) Gutierrez, Mike (Darlene) Gutierrez and Abby (Dave) Smart along with many nieces/nephews and cousins. She was a woman of deep conviction, known for her unwavering love for her church and her heart for serving others. (O.C.C Food for family’s and bible study).
Annette was also the longest tenured employee at Buckner (her employer.)
Annette found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She never missed a chance to watch a game, no matter the sport, and always had Christian music playing in the background—her faith and love for God evident in everything she did.
Her gentle spirit, generous heart, and joyful laugh touched everyone she met. Annette will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who were fortunate to know her. Her memory will forever live on in the lives she so graciously impacted.
We love you, Mom. Until we meet again.
