Cecil Sosebee, 84, of Cumming, GA passed away June 4, 2024. Mr. Sosebee was born in Cumming, GA to the late Ernest and Myrtie Grogan Sosebee. Cecil was saved and baptized at Shady Grove Baptist Church. He will be remembered as a wonderful, loving husband and father. He worked hard his whole life and enjoyed his simple, quiet lifestyle. He was well-liked by many and will be remembered always.
Mr. Sosebee was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Inez Sosebee; siblings, Bobby Sosebee, VZ Barrett, Mary Carnes, Betty Johnson.
He is survived by his daughter and son in-law, Tammie and Kenneth Mauldin; grandson Brian (and Brandy) Sudderth; great-grandchildren, Hunter and Kaison; sisters, Vantine Johnson, Linda Pittman; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Saturday, June 8, 2024, in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Cary Pittman officiating. Interment will follow at Concord Baptist Church Cemetery in Cumming, GA.
The family will receive friends Friday, June 7, 2024, from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Ingram Funeral Home, 210 Ingram Avenue, Cumming, GA 30040.
