Cecily Marie Vines (Tafolla) was 34 years young. She was a beloved Daughter, Sister, Aunt and Friend to many. She gained her heavenly wings on September 1, 2024, after suffering respiratory complications. Our beautiful girl was surrounded by all of her loved ones and fell asleep peacefully knowing that she will see us again one day. Cecily Marie was a one-of-a-kind individual who could light up a room with her beautiful smile. Everyone would always mention how much they loved her laugh. It was so unique and highly contagious, there was no one like our mousy.

Cecily was born on January 25, 1990, to Pamela Berkins and James K. Vines at Carswell Air Force Base, Fort Worth, Texas. She attended Mineral Wells High School and Graduated from North Hills Private School, Millsap, Texas on February 29, 2008. Cecily's dream was to become a cosmetologist one day but the best job she ever had was being the best aunt she could be to her nieces and nephews Mackinzee, Esabella, Alec, Jerrian, Jelius, Jaylon and Emilia Perez. They were her absolute world.

Cecily loved doing her makeup, she became a perfectionist at it. Her vanity was filled with the most beautiful colors of palettes, generously given by her god sister Marisa. Her makeup technique was so keen that she became an artist with her Halloween ensembles, that's why Halloween was her favorite day. She could be anything she wanted to be and was great at it. Cecily loved playing with her dogs, she was an amazing mother to her pups Rosie, Linen and Tiara. She loved her late night FaceTimes with her sweet Pearl and said that with those conversations she was able to conquer womanhood. She loved listening to music, her recently favorite album was Taylor Swift, " The Tortured Poets Department," BTS, and One Direction. She loved spending time with her Bubba and Baby J, going to the mall with her sister Laura and nieces, and loved a good family BBQ. Most of all she loved spending time with her best friend and mother Pamela. There was never a dull moment between them, the love they had for each other was magical. You would always see them cracking jokes, watching movies, getting dolled up just to go cruising through town and shopping together. When you saw one, you most definitely saw the other, they were beautiful together.

Cecily was a warrior; she was born with Spina Bifida, Scoliosis and Hydrocephalus. Our girl battled her entire life with pain. You wouldn't know it though; she was always a happy spunky type of kid. You could feel her smile as far as the east from the west. She was strong all the way to the very end! Our Princess is now free of pain, she’s finally able to walk straight the way she always wished she could and dance and twirl in her beautiful pink gown dress with her pink cowboy boots!

Cecily is preceded in death by her Granny Alma Jones, Tio Adolf Sr. and Tia Teresa Ortiz and Baby Luna Tafolla.

She is survived by her loving Mother Pamela Berkins; Brothers Nickolas Tafolla and Jordan Tafolla; Grandparents Jacinto and Enoemi Tafolla; God Parents Dion Tafolla and Karen McCluskey; Sister - In - Laws Krystal Tafolla and Laura Tafolla; God Siblings Marisa, Brandon and Dalton Tafolla and numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and extended family.

Visitation and a Rosary will be 3-5 p.m. Sunday, September 8, 2024 at Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Home.
