Celeste Pollman Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Gramer Funeral Home - Clawson on Feb. 13, 2026.
Celeste V. Pollman, age 68, passed away on February 9, 2026. Her family remembers her with deep love and gratitude, honoring a life defined by kindness, creativity, and a sincere desire to uplift others.

Born on May 2, 1957, in Jacksonville, North Carolina, Celeste spent her early childhood in Ethiopia before moving to Sterling Heights, Michigan, where her artistic talent and thoughtful nature began to shine. She graduated from Stevenson High School and later earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphic Design from the College for Creative Studies.

Celeste dedicated 43 years of her professional life to Kelly Services in Troy, where she was admired for her reliability, warmth, and steady presence. She shared her gifts generously, offering pro bono graphic design work, volunteering with Green Space Romeo, and staying involved in environmental and justice focused efforts. She especially enjoyed meaningful conversations about world politics and current events, always approaching discussions with openness and respect.

On July 30, 1994, Celeste married John C. Pollman Jr., the love of her life. Together they built a home filled with partnership, humor, and unwavering support. She shared a close bond with her siblings, Karin (Diana Stefani) Warnack and Melody (Andy) Miller, who remained an important part of her life.

Celeste is preceded in death by her beloved son, Johnny (2016), who was truly the light of her life. He brought her profound joy, pride, and purpose, and the love she had for him remained one of the deepest parts of her heart. She is also preceded in death by her parents, Edward Joseph Warnack and Della Warnack, and her brother Keith Warnack.

A gathering of family and friends will take place on Saturday, February 28, 2026, from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM, with a Celebration of Life service at 3:00 PM, at Gramer Funeral Home, 705 North Main Street (Livernois, between 14 Mile Road and Maple Road), Clawson, Michigan 48017.

Services will be led by Deacon Chris Stark.

Memorial contributions may be made to the National Tay Sachs & Allied Diseases Association, an organization dedicated to supporting families and advancing research.

Celeste will be remembered for the light she brought into every space-through her kindness, her artistry, and the love she shared so freely.
