Celia Kujawski passed into eternity of natural causes at home in San Tan Valley, Arizona at the age of 74 on Christmas Eve, while preparing for family Christmas celebrations. She was discovered in the early hours of Christmas morning.
Born and raised in Richfield, Minnesota, she earned her undergraduate degree at Franklin Pierce University in New Hampshire and a master's degree in counseling at the University of Phoenix in Arizona. She devoted most of her career to various roles in the field of special education administration.
Celia, who never married, shared a home with brother, Don, for 33 years. Those who knew her best will remember her as a woman of deep faith in Christ who loved her Lord above all and was a student of the Bible. She found joy creating multiple and unique forms of art, most of which she gifted to friends and family.
Celia is survived by six siblings, Peggy (Larry) Toppenberg, Don, Paul, Janene Harker, Anita (Andy) Anthony, and William (Tammie) as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents John and Lorraine as well as brother Jack, brothers-in-law Mike Harker and Albert Levesque and sister-in-law Noel.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to a cause of your choice in Celia's name.
A celebration of Celia's life will take place at 1:00 on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at Heart Cry Church; 9339 W Hunt Highway; Queen Creek, Arizona. Friends and family are invited to gather afterward at the Toppenberg home. Details will be provided at the service.
