Chad James Armstrong

Chad James Armstrong, 54 of Wooster, Ohio passed away on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at Metro Health Center in Cleveland. Chad was born March 30, 1971, in Bucyrus to the late James Armstrong and Barbara (Hildenbrand) Higbie of Bucyrus. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by paternal grandparents Eric and Eunice Armstrong, maternal grandparents Albert and Margaret Hildenbrand; and most recently cousin Carrie Robertson.

In addition to his loving mother, Chad is also survived by his stepfather Ron Higbie; sisters Jessica John and Jennifer Foreman both of Columbus; stepbrother Donnie Higbie of Galion; nephews Beau and Brock Foreman; great nephew Barrett Foreman; special aunt and uncle Beverly (Brandy) and David Robertson of Bucyrus; special cousins Amber Robertson and Ryan Armstrong; as well as dear friend Rob Skaggs.

Chad graduated from Wynford High School in 1990. He last worked at Wooster Elastomers in Wooster. Chad enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking, and was an avid fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland Browns.

The family will receive friends at the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home on Friday from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm. Funeral Services will begin at 1:00 pm with Rev.
