Chad Thomas Dunn

Zebulon – Chad Thomas Dunn passed on from this life at the young age of 53. He was born in Lee County to Stanley Neverson Dunn (dec.) and Nancy Matthews Lamb. Professionally, Chad worked in the automotive industry, but his skills and abilities far exceeded that. He was considered a jack of all trades, as he was great with his hands and there were many jobs he couldn't do. He leaves to cherish his memory, a loving family and friends that will miss him dearly for many years to come. Chad was known for his great sense of humor, his huge heart, and being a rabid Tar Heel fan. Along with his father, Stanley Neverson Dunn, Chad was preceded in death by his stepfather, John Franklin Lamb, Sr.; fraternal grandparents, Thomas Neverson & Leona Moss Dunn and his maternal grandparents, James & Elsie Gordon Matthews Harvey.

Chad is survived by his loving mother, Nancy Lamb; brother, James Scott Dunn (Valerie) his stepbrothers, John Lamb, Jr. (Karen), Clifton Lamb (Tammy), Wallace Lamb (Carol) and 9 loving grandchildren.

Memorial service will be at 7:30pm on Sunday, December 14, 2025, in the Strickland Funeral Home & Crematory Chapel with a visitation from 6:00pm to 7:30pm prior to the service.
