Born in Cumberland, MD on May 30, 1985, Chad was the son of Donald P. and Jill L. (Davis) Hetrick of Keyser. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joil and Mildred (Cavanaugh) Davis and Paul Hetrick.
Chad graduated from Keyser High School and the Mineral County Vocational Technical Center in 2003 with a certification in welding. He loved spending time with his family. He was a member of the Emmanuel Pentecostal Holiness Assembly and had a servant's heart and witnessed by regularly seeking opportunities to help others. He loved playing basketball, being outside, fishing, camping and trips to the ocean. His kind heart touched many lives.
Surviving, in addition to his parents is his son, Logan K. Hetrick of Keyser; his brother, Donald P. "D.J." Hetrick, II and his wife Anna of Scott Depot, WV; his grandmother, Helen J. Hetrick of Grantsville, MD; a nephew, Hudson Hetrick and a niece, Norah Hetrick.
At the request of the family, visitation and services will be private.
Interment will be in the Potomac Memorial Gardens, Keyser
The Smith Funeral Home, Keyser Chapel, is in charge of the arrangements.
