Chad Allen LaPrade, born on the 6th of May, 1989, born in Temple, Texas, was a beacon of light and joy to all who knew him. On the 16th of August, 2025, Chad completed his earthly journey in Malvern, Arkansas, leaving behind a legacy of love and friendship that will forever resonate in the hearts of those he touched. Chad was a man whose very essence was rooted in the bonds of family. He was the cherished son of Melinda LaPrade, a beloved brother to Stephanie LaPrade, a doting uncle to Wren Alexandra LaPrade and Kai Bradley Brown, and the treasured nephew of Penny Brock, Cindy Martin, and his cousin Chris Randolph, who was more like an uncle to him.
Though his father, Bradley Stephen LaPrade, and his adored grandmother, Posey "PoPo" Martin, preceded him in passing, the love and lessons they imparted remain a cornerstone of the family's strength. Chad's academic journey began at Temple College and later flourished at Texas State University, where he studied Sports Management with unwavering determination and passion. His education paved the way for his entrepreneurial success as the owner and operator of Biscuit's Logistics, LLC, where he not only built a business but also a community of colleagues who respected and admired his dedication and work ethic.
Chad's spiritual nature was the compass by which he navigated life's challenges and triumphs. He found solace and strength in his spirituality, which guided him to live a life of purpose and intention. His beliefs were his anchor, providing a serene sense of peace that he carried with him always. An avid sports enthusiast, Chad's zest for life was evident in his love for playing basketball and being a fervent supporter at professional basketball, football, and baseball games. These activities were not mere pastimes for Chad; they were extensions of his love for camaraderie, competition, and the sheer joy of being part of something greater than himself.
But above all, Chad's greatest pleasure was found in the simple moments spent with family and friends. His presence was a gift, his laughter a melody, and his ability to love unconditionally a testament to his extraordinary character. Chad, affectionately known as "Biscuit" to his friends was the embodiment of love, thoughtfulness, and friendliness -words that merely scratch the surface of a man whose impact was as profound as his smile was wide. Let us honor Chad's memory by embracing the qualities that defined him. Let us be loving in our actions, thoughtful in our words, and friendly in our demeanor. Chad's life was a motivational speech lived out loud, a narrative of a man who seized every day with gusto and grace.
