Mr. Chad Edward Woods, II, age 17, departed this life Monday, August 14, 2023 in Person County. He was born April 13, 2006 in Orange County but made his home in Person County where he was home-schooled.
Chad is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Kenneth D. and Frances B. Minor; and his paternal grandmother, Carolyn L. Woods.
He leaves to cherish precious memories, his parents, Chad and Krystle Minor Woods; three brothers: Charles Minor, Carter Woods and Caleb Woods, all of the home; his grandfather, Lawrence Claiborne of Roxboro, NC; and a host of other additional loving relatives and friends.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, August 19, 2023 at 1:00pm at the Greater Cleggs Chapel Community Missionary Baptist Church, 2601 Surl-Mt. Tirzah Road, Timberlake, NC 27583 with the Rev. Clyde A. Glass, Pastor of Old Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, officiating and providing the eulogy.
Visitation will also be Saturday at the church from 12:00pm to 1:00pm.
At other times, the family will receive friends at his home, 374 Cedar Creek Road, Timberlake, NC 27583.
