Chad Wooten Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Bross & Spidle Funeral Home & Cremation Services & Monuments - Excelsior Sp on Mar. 20, 2025.
April 30, 1993 – March 12, 2025
Chad Daniel Wooten passed away March 12, 2025 at the age of 31. He is lovingly remembered by his mother, Cynthia Wooten Allen; his father, Vance Wooten (Rebecca); and his brothers, Troy (Jennifer), Sean (Kayla), and Trevor. Chad was the beloved uncle to Troy's three children. Chad is also survived by step-siblings, Rachel and Sam; aunts and uncles; and a myriad of cousins.
Chad joined the Missouri National Guard in 2010, fulfilling a lifelong military dream. For most of his service, he was with the 548th Transport Division as a Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic and Vehicle Recovery Specialist.
He served his unit and his country faithfully until his honorable discharge in 2023. This included a year-long deployment to the Middle East. His military career was a great source of pride for both Chad and his family.
Chad most recently worked as a tradesman. Always a hard worker, his work ethic and ingenuity were not only utilized in his career, but in his willingness to serve a friend or family member in need. His strength and dependability was a blessing to many.
While Chad's earthly life ended with his passing, his family will carry his legacy of love, loyalty, curiosity, and adventure with them until they can be reunited some day.
All are welcome to celebrate Chad's life, beginning with a visitation at 10 a.m. and funeral service at 11 a.m. on March 24, 2025, at Providence Baptist Church, Kansas City, MO. Interment will follow with a private family ceremony. Missouri National Guard Chaplain Chuck Scott will officiate both ceremonies.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to K9s For Warriors.
Arrangements are in care of Bross & Spidle Funeral Home, Excelsior Springs.

I miss you, son. I cry in silence most every day. My heart aches for one more moment with you. One more hug, one more smile or laugh. One more chance to say you are wanted, needed and loved. I miss you every moment here without you. I love you always, Chad. Love Mom

April 30th. Happy Birthday, son. I will always remember you soaring above the sky. I love you, and miss you more than words can express. Love, Mom.

I remember the moment when my son was placed in my arms for the first time. I remember whispering in his ear "You are my precious child, and I will love you always." I remember quitely talking to him during late night feedings, telling him all the dreams I had for him, and how blessed, and grateful I was to be his mom. I remember his smile, his sweet laugh, and his little arms wrapping around my neck while I spun him in circles. I remember my beautiful boy as he grew, as his giggles turned into a deep laugh, and his smile lit up his handsome face. I remember when rather than reaching down to hug his wiggling body, I was suddenly reaching up to hug him. You are still, and will always be my precious child. I love you, Chad, and words can't express how much I miss you. Love always, Mom.
