Chad was born on January 3, 1972, in Scottsbluff, to Ricky and Jeanette (Henrick) Worth. The couple welcomed Chad’s baby brother, Jeremy, in 1975. Chad attended Gering High School and graduated in 1990. He enjoyed baseball and wrestling. Following his education, he enlisted in the United States Army.

He welcomed his daughter, Devyn, in 1992. Chad met the love of his life, Ashley Fertig, in 2006, and the two built a life full of wonderful adventures. He was a big sports lover but above all, he had a passion for being outdoors. Chad could often be found spending time on the water chasing any and all species of fish. He had a love for animals and had many companions throughout his life. His dogs, Indy and Archie, will greatly miss their human.

Survivors include his partner, Ashley Fertig; parents, Jeanette and Rick Worth; brother, Jeremy (Dawn) Worth; daughter, Devyn (Sam) Isabell; godmother, Ronda Lane; grandchildren, Ben, Lizzy, Levi, and Leah Isabell; and niece and nephew, Kyla and Jarin Worth.

His family would like to give a special thanks to the amazing medical staff at both Regional West Medical Center and Monument Rehabilitation and Care Center who helped care for Chad.
