Obituary of Chanan Dayan
Chanan Dayan, 69, of Denver, Colorado, embarked on his final adventure on December 26, 2023. Chanan was born on March 22, 1954, in Israel and was exceedingly proud of his heritage. He lived a life filled with laughter, kindness, and a zest for exploration. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, leaving behind a legacy that will forever be etched in our hearts.
Known for his quick wit and infectious humor, Chanan observed life through a philosophical lens, always pondering the deeper meaning and finding a punchline. His magnetic personality drew people in, and his humor and kindness left an indelible mark on all who had the pleasure of knowing him. His love for architecture, art, golf, photography and music fueled his creative soul.
Chanan's memory will be forever treasured by his beloved wife, Kelly, his children, Joshua, Daniel, and Anna, his grandchildren, Isaak and Elliot, his sisters, Daphna and Lucy, and his brother, Leon. He was preceded in death by his mother, Hadassah, father, Yechiel, stepfather, Alfred, and his son, Adam.
To honor Chanan's remarkable life, a celebration of his adventures will be held on December 29th, 2023, at 2:00pm, Feldman Mortuary, located at 1673 York Street, 80206 Denver, CO. The service will be live streamed via Feldman Mortuary's YouTube page.
Burial will precede the service at 1:00pm, Emanuel Cemetery, located at 430 S. Quebec Street, Denver, CO.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Chanan's honor.
Chanan, may your spirit continue to light up our lives as you continue your adventure through the beauty of the unknown. Know that our hearts carry your laughter, and your vibrant spirit reminds us to find joy in every step with infectious enthusiasm.
