Chandler Leigh Nuncio, 60, passed away February 9, 2025 in Pecos, TX. He had family present and knew how much he was loved and admired for his life and for his courageous, all-too-brief battle with esophageal cancer. Leigh was born in Orlando, FL on July 23, 1964 and spent the first part of his childhood there. His family later moved to Lawton, OK where he graduated from Lawton High School in 1982. He began his multi-faceted career in the electrical trade then worked in construction and law enforcement in Colorado before finding his real passion - working with horses, cattle and in ranch management. After 25 years living in Colorado, Leigh moved to West Texas in 2010. He worked for several ranches over the past 15 years and at the time of his passing, worked with a fine team of cowboys at the KC Ranch near Balmorhea. He is preceded in death by his younger brother, Curtis L. Nuncio and his cousin, Chio Diaz. Surviving family members include: mother - Nancy Prost, father - Ted Nuncio (Verna Bickford), sister - Chris Meadows (husband Mike), sister - Cindy Lipe (husband Scott), cousins - Irene Diaz, her children and their families. Family and friends will hold a Celebration of Life at a later date. The family of Chandler Leigh Nuncio wishes to thank the doctors and nurses at Methodist Richardson Cancer Center and Hospital in Richardson, TX as well as the Pecos County Memorial Hospital Hospice team in Ft. Stockton, TX.
