Rufino Contreras Guebara

Rufino Contreras Guebara, age 66, of Balmorhea, Texas, passed away on October 9, 2025, in Odessa, Texas.

Rufino was born on February 25, 1959, to Rodolfo and Monse Contreras Guebara. He attended school in Balmorhea, Texas, and later married the love of his life, Anita Guebara, on December 6, 1981.

Rufino was a hardworking man who dedicated 7 years to TxDOT and 10 years to Capital Aggregates as a machinery operator. He was known for his strong work ethic, humble nature, and the deep love he had for his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Rodolfo and Monse Guebara, and his brother, Benjamin Guebara.

He is survived by his loving wife, Anita Guebara, and their three sons: Jonathan Michael Guebara and partner Stephanie, Jeffrey Guebara and partner Jodi, and Joshua Guebara and partner Victoria. He is also survived by four cherished grandchildren: Jonathan Michael Guebara Jr., Lily Marie Guebara, Maria, and Zach.

A visitation service will be held on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a Rosary from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Pecos Funeral Home in Pecos, Texas.

Rufino will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
