Chantal Aguilar Obituary

Published by Cypress Lawn Funeral Home & Memorial Park on Apr. 1, 2012.
Born and raised in Redwood City, Chantal was one of a kind. The eldest of three children, she always stood out. She was a very happy child growing up. She attended local schools and went on to be a medical assistant at Kaiser for twelve years. Her life continued as follows: I, Dennis Aguilar, met my beloved wife and mother to my girls, Chantal, in late 1997 when I was 22 and she was 17 at a friend's get together. When I saw her, it was love at first sight. She was very beautiful. Chanty was a very easy going, sweet, full of life girl and always with a smile on her face; she was a beautiful gift from God. Chanty had the personality that would light up a room when she walked in. This quality took my breath away. A true blessing from God. On December 1st, 1998, we got married and on February 6th, 1999, we had our first beautiful girl, which we named Isabella. A few years later, we welcomed our second girl, Sophia. We were a very happy family. She was a very caring and loving mother and wife. She would move the world to please us. Unfortunately, in June 2010, she was diagnosed with Leukemia but that did not stop her from being her bright self. I have never met such a strong and courageous person. She was never one to complain but rather she fought the disease head on with a smile on her face. Always keeping positive! On April 1st, she lost her battle to Leukemia. She fought till the last second but she is in a much better place now. She will be greatly missed by her husband, girls and family. We love you Chantal!

My dearest Chantal,

Growing up as children on that ranch at our grandparents house, are times I will never forget. They called us twins, because as kids, we looked so much alike.

I was one of your pall bearers my beloved cousin. The single and outright most difficult thing I had to ever do.

A few months after you were laid to rest, I visited you and dropped off sunflowers and sat by you and played on my phone a song that I forever dedicated for you"

Somewhere Over the Rainbow. I learned to play it on the piano and played it for you.

No amount of tears will bring you back, but no amount of love will ever, ever fade from all of us.

Until we see each other again.

We miss and love you so much.

- Your favorite cousin; Chelo.
