Charlene Frazier, age 83, of Marion, IL, passed away on Wednesday, May 7, 2025 at her home.
She was born on November 20, 1941 in Marion to Oral and Wilma (Rowland) Jackson. She married Boyd Allen Frazier on September 1, 1990 in Manteca, CA. He preceded her in death on July 3, 2002.
Charlene owned and operated American Metalcrafters, a machining and steel fabrication shop in Stockton, CA for many years.
Charlene was a faithful member of the Pittsburg Freewill Baptist Church, where she loved attending services. She enjoyed working in her yard, playing cards and lunching with her cousins. She was an avid reader and most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family creating many special memories.
Survivors include her children, Ricky Holte, Connie Englehart, Cindy McManis, and Daconda Fontenot, and her husband, Gary; 15 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Oral and Wilma Jackson; husband, Boyd Allen Frazier; son, Boyd Allen Frazier, II; and sister, Norma Bonifant.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Wilson-McReynolds Funeral Home, 900 North Court Street, Marion, IL.
The visitation will be at Wilson-McReynolds Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 13, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon.
Following the time of visitation, the funeral service will be at 12:00 noon with Pastor Eddie Donelson presiding.
Burial will follow at Freedom Cemetery in Marion.
For those who prefer, the family suggests memorial contributions be directed to "Pittsburg Freewill Baptist Church." Envelopes will be available at the funeral home or may be mailed c/o Wilson-McReynolds Funeral Home, 900 North Court Street, Marion, IL 62959.
