Charlene Logan passed away on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at the Parkwood Healthcare Facility in Phenix City, Alabama. Born on August 10, 1938, in Needham to Charlie and Audie Jenkins Faircloth, she graduated from Murphy High School in Mobile, Alabama, in 1957. In 1958, Charlene married her beloved husband, Robert Mac Logan, Sr. For many years, she worked as an administrative assistant before retiring from J.F. Smith Group. Charlene was a truly beautiful southern lady. A devoted Christian, she held a profound faith and was always enthusiastic about sharing her love for Jesus with others. Charlene was a treasured wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, and her absence will be profoundly missed.
She is survived by her two sons, Robert Mac Logan, Jr. and Keith Mac Logan (Karen); one grandson, Blake Mac Logan; sister, Jacqueline Faircloth; niece, Charlene Deaton; great niece, Tiffany Deaton; and great nephews Stephen Deaton and Brandon Deaton; and numerous other family members and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Robert Mac Logan, Sr.; parents, Charlie and Audie Jenkins Faircloth; and sister, Patsy Faircloth Thomas.
The family kindly request that in lieu of flowers donations be made to Southview Assembly of God at 2520 Society Hill Road, Opelika, AL 36804 or the American Cancer Society at www.donate.cancer.org.
The family would like to extend special thanks to the Parkwood Healthcare Facility Nurses and Hospice Staff for their care during Charlene's time of sickness.
