Charlene Tygres Obituary

Charlene Tygres
Charlene (Johnson) Tygres was born on January 3, 1948 in Valparaiso, Florida to Charles "Chuck" Burt Johnson and Adeline Josephine (Saftich) Johnson. Charlene went home to be with Jesus on March 10, 2021 while surrounded by family. She was preceded in death by her mother, father and two brothers, Edward and Carl Johnson.
Charlene is survived by her husband of 47 years, Clinton James Tygres, with whom she travelled and saw many parts of the world as an Air Force spouse. She is also survived by their two children Christine Brogdon (Scott) and Curtis Tygres (Erica), her sister Louise "Lou" Reed (Charlie), two grandchildren Anna McCoy and Ava Brogdon, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Charlene loved her family and friends, walking on the Turkey Creek boardwalk, listening to audio books and decorating for the holidays. As a wife, mom, grandmother and friend, she is dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
