Charles Edward "Chuck" Anderson, 73, of Bucklin, MO, passed away on Tuesday, October 1, 2025. He was born on December 29, 1951, in Marceline, MO, the son of Elizia E. Anderson and Naomia E. (Teeters) Anderson.

Chuck graduated from Bucklin High School in 1970. He was united in marriage to Barbara Russell on September 6, 1975, in Marceline. She preceded him in death. On October 26, 2019, he was married to Olivia "Ercell" Cody in Bucklin, and she survives of the home.

He worked at Smith Motors for 41 years, serving much of that time as Parts Manager. During his career he built countless friendships with coworkers and customers alike. Outside of work, Chuck enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, music, and cheering for his beloved St. Louis Cardinals.

He is survived by his wife, Ercell; three daughters, Nickie (Aaron) Johnson of Fair Grove, MO, Jennifer Anderson of Bucklin, MO, and Laura (Nathan) Brownell of Kingwood, TX; seven grandchildren, Colton Hammond, Gabriel and Charlotte Brownell, Aiden and Piper Johnson, and Danny and Kasey Maggart; several brothers and sisters; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife, Barbara.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, October 12, 2025, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Delaney Funeral Home in Marceline. A memorial service will follow on Monday, October 13, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Delaney Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
