Charles Curt Bandow, age 72, of Blanchester passed away Sunday October 7, 2023, at the Bethesda North Hospital in Montgomery.
He was born in Germany April 13, 1951, the son of Robert and Wally (nee Schaefer) Bandow, while his father was in the service during WWII. After returning to the states, Curt graduated from Blanchester High School and was the plant manager of the Allen Company for over 40 years, before retiring.
In 1975, he married Billie (nee McKay) Bandow. She preceded him in death on December 7, 2020. He enjoyed camping, outdoor adventures, sports and watching his children and grandchildren play sports.
Curt is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law; Todd and Bobbie Fiori-Bandow, Doug and Stephanie Naylor, grandchildren; Kelsey "2015" Naylor, Samantha "Corndog" Naylor, Natalie "Nat Bat" Naylor, Brant "B Boy" Bandow, Bryce "Hans" Bandow, Bryan "B Rye" Bandow, Brett "Bretters" Bandow, Sophia "Sofo" Bandow, and Alia "Fluffy" Bandow, sisters; Doris Tenant and Susan Barr, along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held 4:30 to 7PM Monday October 16, 2023, with a service at 7:00PM at Evans Funeral Home, 1944 State Route 28, Goshen Ohio 45122 His family requests memorials in his name be directed to the American Cancer Society.
