Charles E. Campbell, 80 of Spencer, passed away Friday, December 8, 2023 in Owen Valley Rehabilitation Center. He was born on December 27, 1942 in Olive Hill, Kentucky, and raised by his loving grandparents. Charles was a United States Navy Vietnam veteran. He worked for 28 years as an engineer for General Motors. He attended the Cloverdale Church of the Nazarene. Charles is survived by his grandsons, Charlie, Nicholas, and Brandon Campbell; daughter-in-law, Diane Campbell; and niece, Lillian Pursell. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon K. Bowen Campbell; son, Kenneth Campbell, and daughter, Kathy Campbell. Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm on Thursday, December 14, 2023 in Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield, with visitation from 11:00 am until the service time.
