Charles Edward Camper departed his life on Friday, March 14, 2025 at Kaiser Permanente Hospital in Sacramento, CA at the age of 62. Charles was born on March 21, 1962 in Millville, NJ to Doris Ruth Harden and Randolph Edward Camper.
Charles was educated in the Millville-Cumberland County New Jersey School District and graduated from Millville Senior High School in 1980. After graduation Charles received a Scholarship in Engineering at the University of Spartan in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
In 1988 Charles moved to Sacramento, California and successfully gained employment as a State Employee at the State Capitol where he was employed for 20 years. He was due to retire March 2025.
Charles's hobbies were fishing, playing dominos, video games, and loved all types of sports, especially those Super Bowl Champions the Philadelphia Eagles and the Philadelphia Flyers.
Charles was predeceased in death by his father Randolph E. Camper of Port Norris, NJ, his brothers, Morris Wayne Harden of Myrtle Beach, SC.; Randolph (Randy) Camper of Millville, NJ and grandson Mecca Foy of Elkgrove, California.
He leaves to cherish his memories his wife Carol A. Reaves Camper in Sacramento, CA; mother, Doris R. Harden Whyte; sister, Sharon Valentine (Mark) both of Dover, DE; brother, Quincy (Damor) Chin of Everrett, WA; his children, Ashley Camper (Jamie), Amber Foy (Stephen), Doris Camper, Charles (CJ) Camper and Precious Camper, Michael Christian all of Elkgrove/Sacramento, CA; mother-in-law, Rebecca Reaves Majors of Vineland, NJ; stepson, Kevin Reaves of Vineland, NJ; his nieces, Monique Valentine of Dover, DE and Sharaine Randazzo of Vineland, NJ; his nephews, Daniel Valentine of Dover, DE and Morris W. Harden, Jr. of Cape May, NJ; his grandchildren, Amarcus, Jameson, Sabrina, Zaire, and Zion; a great niece Mia Grandper and two aunts, cousins and friends.
