Charles Boydston Carr Jr., born on July 19, 1941, in Akron, Ohio, departed this life peacefully at his home in Zionsville, Indiana, on December 1, 2024. A beloved figure among family and friends, Charles will be remembered for his warmth, kindness, and dedication throughout his life.

A proud graduate of Shimer College, Charles built a successful career in sales, where he became known for his integrity and commitment to his clients. His passion, however, lay in woodworking. Charles was truly talented.  He found joy in creating beautiful pieces that were functional and would stand the test of time. Chuck put his heart into creating the home he and his wife shared.

Carr, who remember him as a source of inspiration and guidance throughout their lives. Beyond his role as a father, he cherished moments spent with his grandchildren, Alyssa Mayrose and Adam Mayrose, pouring love and wisdom into their lives.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Boydston Carr Sr. and Ethel Mae Carr; as well as his son, Brian Carr. Their memories continue to live on in the hearts of all who loved him.
