Charles “Chuck” Kermit Jacks Jr , 60 of Thornport passed away on Monday, August 4th, 2025 at the Pickering House in Lancaster. He was born on October 30, 1964, to the late Charles and Betty (Farley) Jacks.
Chuck graduated from Lakewood High School class of 1983.
He met his loving wife Penny at Big Bear to which they married in 1998, celebrating 27 & and half incredible years together.
Chuck had a long career as a baker and bakery manager for the former Big Bear ( 20 years) and Giant Eagle (21 years).
Chuck is survived by his wife, Penny (Fry) Jacks; Sisters in law Jane Blauser, Cindy Ayers, Sherliyn; children Brandon (Erika) Jacks, Desiree (Dan) VanGundy, Brandy (Kyle) Topp; grandchildren Lila (Dustin) Miller, Atira (Gavin) Shoemaker, Nakita, Jasper, James; great grandchildren Jaxon, Jae; Aunt and Uncle; Nieces and Nephews; Pet Children Kayla and Bear.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, August 7, 2025 from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM in the Johnson-Smith Funeral Home, 207 S. Main St. Baltimore, OH 43105. A funeral service will take place at 12 noon. Burial to follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens.
