Wow. I haven't seen Skip in years but he used to be my insurance agent. We used to talk about space and pretty much everything else. We lost touch with each other sadly and now all I can do is reflect. He was by all standards a great guy. See you soon Skip.

I remember Charles well - he was my mother´s insurance agent- then me and my wife used his services when he was on the corner of old country rd and elm street- we continued having him represent us when he went over to Burns Brook MCNEIL of Torrington- and I still use them today-
He was a very nice person and always joyful- trustworthy- and I respected his work ethic-
I am sorry for his family´s loss -
Definitely a inspiration of how to treat others-

My deepest regrets to all of the family . Skip has been a good friend to me and has helped me many times with Ham Radio issues.
At times like this let's not be sorry for what we lost but Be Happy for What We Had!

Skip, you were my very first contact and mentor when I was a brand new ham back in 2013. I still have your QSL card. I always enjoyed meeting up with you at hamfests, the League or the museum, and on the air. My thoughts and prayers are with your family. You are missed.

Down the road, Skip, and down the log. 73, Mary, WX1W

We send our thoughts to the Colton family at this very difficult time. We've been friends for many years. Nancy married us, and Skip took photos of our day. Diane and Roy Roberts
