He was born on December 15, 1969 in Rutland, VT the son of Joseph and Marianne (Rice) Coombs.
Charles was a graduate of Mount St. Joseph Academy in Rutland, VT.
He enjoyed going out for a walk or a bike ride. He also liked dogs, and antiquing.
Charles is survived by his daughter Riley Coombs and her fiancé Kegan Tomasi, brothers, Francis (Joyce) Coombs, Kevin (Susan) Coombs, his sister Laurie Coombs and sister-in-law Marie Coombs. Nieces and nephews, Breana Coombs, Jeffrey Coombs, Kristen Vecchio, Nate Coombs and Carly Coombs.
He was Pre-deceased by his parents and a brother Brian Coombs.
Visitation hours will be held Thursday May 29, 2025 from 4-6pm at Clifford Funeral Home located at 2 Washington St in Rutland.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday May 30, 2025 at 10am with The Rev Msgr Bernard W Bourgeois as the celebrant.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Rutland County Humane Society. 765 Stevens Road Pittsford, VT 05763.
Arrangements are under the direction of Clifford Funeral Home.

My deepest condolences go out to all of you! I remember when Charlie was only a young Coombser, coming over to the store with brother Kevin and picking out his own penny candy... brother Kevin would throw in another nickel and he´d get 5 more of something then I´d toss in a few extra just to make sure! I truly thought he Was a great kid growing up!!!
