Charles "Darren" Costello

Charles "Darren" Costello, who left us on March 28, 2025, at the age of 59. He was born on December 27, 1965, in Canton, Ohio.
Darren was a devoted worker for OBS for 25 years. Throughout his career, he cherished the opportunity to combine his passion for painting and working on cars. He was a man who found happiness in the simple pleasures, especially during country drives with his beloved wife, De. Together, they created countless cherished memories that will be held close to their hearts.
A proud grandfather, Darren was affectionately known as "Papa" to his grandchildren, who held a special place in his heart. He cherished every moment spent with them, always striving to be a source of love and support in their lives.
Darren was preceded in death by his mother, Toni (William) Carpenter; grandmother, Ardelia Costello, who lovingly raised him; sister, Dawn Carpenter; and sister-in-law, Lorri Pringle.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 28 years, Deanne (Pringle) Costello; children, Ryan (Cheyenne) Neighbor, Justin Costello, Charles Costello; grandchildren, Violet, Lillian, Gavin, Ryker, Juniper; brother, Billy (Bonita) Carpenter; nieces and nephews, Brittany (Matt) Glota, Matthew (Mary) Barth, Lorrin (Dave) Radzik, Christopher (Wendy) Pringle, Matthew Pringle, Lalia Barth, Matthew Barth Jr.; special cousin and honorary sister, Debbie Bettis; and brothers-in-law Mark (Pat) Pringle and Don Pringle.
The family would like to specially thank Nikki from Ohio Living Hospice for her special care given to Darren and his family; as well as, Barb Lyle with Absolute Hospice for being such a special friend to Darren and a great comfort to us all.
Memorial service will be held Saturday, April 12, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Dueber Church, 645 Dueber Ave SW, Canton, OH 44706. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Dueber Church.
