DATELINE: KINGS MOUNTAIN, NORTH CAROLINA
Charles Clifford Costner
Charles Clifford Costner, 67, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on August 14, 2025 at Wendover Hospice House in Shelby, NC. Born September 11, 1957 in Cleveland County, he was the son of the late Grady Costner and Marie Bledsoe Delgado and was preceded in death by his brother Johnny, sister Glenda Wells, nephew John Scott Costner and niece, Gail Hambright. For most of his life, Charles worked in the flooring industry, and he spent 10 years working and living in California before coming back to North Carolina. He contributed to the community by helping his father craft custom Christmas lights to display at the seasonal "Grady and Katie's" Christmas light show in the Midpines community. He will be missed dearly by all of his family, especially his younger cousins who enjoyed cutting up with him.
SURVIVORS: Brother: Scott Costner and wife, Norma, of Sycamore, AL
Niece: Shawna Bone and husband Andy
Charles is also survived by numerous loving cousins, nieces, great nieces and great-great nieces and extended family members.
VISITATION: Monday, August 18, 2025 from 5:00 P.M to 7:00 P.M. in the parlor at Harris Funeral Home
