Charles "Steve" Crume, age 65, of Louisville, Kentucky returned to his Heavenly Father on Friday, November 7, 2025. He was born on February 17, 1960, in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late Janet (Coyle) and Robert Crume, Sr. Steve was a good-hearted man who loved to tell jokes. He was a handyman who could fix anything for anyone and was a "live for today" man who never hurt anyone. His true passion was music; he was a self-taught musician who could pick up any instrument and learn to play it. He loved to play his music in bars and loved to play for anyone who wanted to listen. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Crume, Jr. and his nephew, Benjamin Jackson.

He leaves to cherish his memory his sisters, Karen Donlin (Jack) and Maria "Deb" Bridges (Jim); brother, Timothy L. Crume, Sr. (Angie); sister-in-law, Carmen Crume; nieces and nephews, Robert Crume (Holly), Christine Sowers (Cory), Shannon Henson (David); Jodie Brophy (Garvan); Timothy L. Crume, Jr. (Shelbi) along with a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at 2:00 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with interment in Brookland Cemetery.
