Stephen was a graduate of Mount Pleasant High School Class of 1985 and received his B.A. degree from the University of North Texas in Denton. He was a member of East New Hope Baptist Church. Stephen was employed as a Retail Manager in various retail establishments. He enjoyed traveling and was the ultimate shopper! His greatest joy came from spending time with his family and friends where he was known to be "the life of the party". He was a kind and generous soul and will be greatly missed by all those who had the honor and privilege of knowing and loving him.
Stephen was preceded in death by his parents, Bobby and Faye DeLoach, and brother, Craig Anthony DeLoach.
Left to cherish Stephen's memory is his loving family: sister and brother-in-law, Renee & Danny Cameron; brothers and sisters-in-law, Curtis & Gina DeLoach and Chris & Karrie DeLoach all of Mount Pleasant, Texas; nieces and nephews and spouses: Michelle Cameron & fiancé Eric Quinney; Brandon & Kelsey Cameron; Joseph & Channa Linseisen; Joshua & Sophia DeLoach; Lindsey & Patrick Carr; Bryan & Megan DeLoach; and Amanda & Andrew McCamy; great-nieces and nephews: Carter & Carson Cameron; Adalynn Linseisen; Lyla & Pierce Carr; Hadley DeLoach; Adam & Bowen DeLoach; and Patton, Kyland & Kenna McCamy. Also surviving are numerous extended family members and friends as well as his best friend Archie.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, July 12, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the East New Hope Baptist Church Fellowship Hall located on FM 1735.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Stephen's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at www.St.Jude.org, an organization that was near and dear to his heart.
