Charles D. Dresch, 83, of Annville passed away on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at the Hershey Medical Center. He was the husband of Joyce A (Brower) Dresch. On July 13, 2025, they would have celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary.
Born in St. Clair on February 17, 1942, he was the son of the late Charles J. and Dorothy E. (Delker) Dresch. Charles graduated from St. Clair High School with the Class of 1960. He went on to graduate with a Bachelor's Degree from Penn State University. He worked as an electrical engineer for Bethlehem Steel for many years. He attended Zion Evangelical Congregational Church in Annville. Charles enjoyed horseback riding, exercising racehorses at the track in Grantville, going to auctions, working on the farm, running his skid loader, and taking walks through his farm fields. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family and attending his grandchildren's sporting events.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons: Charles B. husband of Kelly E. Dresch of Jonestown, Heath D. husband of Jodi L. Dresch of E. Hanover, Steve M. husband of Stacey L. Dresch of Lebanon, Douglas S. husband of Nancy R. Dresch of Jonestown and Todd L. Dresch of E. Hanover; 11 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren; and brothers John L. and Edward Dresch, both of St. Clair.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 17, 2025, at the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Jonestown. There will be a viewing from 10:00 a.m. until the start of the service. Interment will be in the Odd Fellows Cemetery in St. Clair.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Zion Evangelical Congregational Church, 710 S. White Oak St., Annville, PA 17003.
