Charles Eads Jr. Obituary

Charles Robert Eads Jr., a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away on Thursday, May 1, 2025, in Georgetown, Indiana. Born on February 17, 1961, in Louisville, Kentucky, Charles lived a life marked by hard work, love for his family, and an unwavering spirit of kindness.

For 29 years, Charles devoted himself to his career as a forklift driver for General Electric, exemplifying his strong work ethic and commitment to his responsibilities. His work was not just a job, but a testament to his character and determination.

Charles brought joy and enthusiasm to every aspect of his life. He had a remarkable talent for building things, which reflected his creativity and ability to turn ideas into reality. An avid gun collector, he cherished his collection and found great satisfaction in sharing his passion with those around him. Yet, it was his family who remained at the center of his universe.

His wife, Sondra Eads, was the love of his life. Their bond served as a shining example of devotion, as Charles relished every moment spent by her side. He found immense joy in spoiling her and making sure she felt cherished, showcasing the depth of his love. Together, they built a life filled with laughter, support, and unwavering companionship.

Charles was immensely proud of his family, particularly his two beloved grandchildren, Elizabeth and Michael, who were his pride and joy. To him, they represented the culmination of love and legacy, and he dedicated countless hours to creating memories with them that would be treasured for generations.

He is survived by his loving wife Sondra Eads; daughter Valerie (Aaron) Masters; grandchildren Elizabeth and Michael; siblings Donna Gossett, Teresa Rice, Jeffery Eads, and Mark (Dee) Eads; along with several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends, all of whom will remember him fondly.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Sr. and Mabel Eads, and his sister Peggy Hiser, who will surely welcome him with open arms.
