Charles "Charlie" E. Ennis, 76, of Stafford, passed away on Thursday, October 2, 2025, at Mary Washington Hospital.

A proud U.S. Army veteran, Charlie served at Fort Richardson in Alaska before dedicating his life to carpentry. He loved playing guitar and singing, especially classic country-Buck Owens was a favorite. Charlie had a passion for old cars and spent many Sundays drag racing at Sumerduck. He had a soft spot for animals and was known for his kind heart, skilled hands, and love for the simple joys in life.

Survivors include his children, Lisa Morris (Scott), Craig Ennis, and Darryl Ennis; grandchildren, Brittany, Tanya, Cody, and Stephan; great-grandchildren, Kinnlie, Lainey, Taylor, Madison, Jameson, Cheyenne, Easton, Elaina, Trenton, Colt, and Grayson; uncle, Donnie Stephens; aunt, Betty Fines; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Marshall Ennis; mother, Edna Ennis; and brothers, Warren Ennis and David Ennis.

The family will hold a private Celebration of Life at a later date.
