Charles Edward Fender, 79, of Heltonville, passed away on Sunday, October 12, 2025 at his residence.
Born March 28, 1946, in Heltonville, he was the son of Charles and Bernice (Meadows) Fender.
He married Carol King on November 27, 2009 and she survives.
Charles was an operator at Evans Limestone for many years.
He enjoyed riding his John Deere Tractor, riding horses, mowing his yard, and tinkering out in the garage.
Surviving to cherish his memory are his wife, Carol; children, Crystal (Brent) Eagans and Timothy (Amy) Baldwin; Grandchildren, Seanna Eagans, Nyschelle (Tramas) Ault, Kaylyn (Christian) Turner, and Madolyn (David) King; Great-grandchildren, Draven Finney, Major King, Cody Selvia Jr., Corbyn Selvia, Evan Turner, Everleigh King, Mavryk King, Amelia Turner, Oaklynn King, Jackson Turner, and Baby King due in February 2026; siblings Rex Allen Fender; sister-in-law, Wanda Fender; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Ladona Fender, Carl Eugene Fender, Marnice Prince, and Jackie Leon Fender; and one niece, Tonya Fender.
Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. on Friday, October 17, 2025 at the Limestone Chapel of George Funeral Care, 527 15th Street, Bedford, Indiana.
Visitation will be from 4-7 P.M. on Thursday, at the Limestone Chapel.
