Charles Frost Obituary
1954-2021
Salt Lake City, Ut—Charles Lynn Frost (May 11, 1954-May 19, 2021) passed away in his sleep after a valiant battle with colon cancer. He grew up in Spanish Fork, Utah and graduated from BYU with a BA and MFA. He was married twice and was the father of four children. Charles was an educator of the humanities throughout his life teaching high school drama, professional development, and as a life coach. He was a celebrated actor, director, and activist who created the famous persona of 'Sister Dottie S. Dixon', an LDS mother who fiercely loved her gay son. A private family-only service will be held followed by a public celebration June 5th, from 4-6 PM at Neil O'Donnell Funeral Home in Salt Lake.
