Charles "Charlie" Henry Hannah, Jr., age 84, formerly of Daretown, NJ passed away on December 22, 2024 in Hoschton, GA. The son of the late Charles Henry Hannah and Netta "Peg" Layman, Charlie was a graduate of Woodstown High School. He went on to serve his country in the United States Air Force in Massachusetts and worked as a salesman for DuPont until his retirement. Charlie spent most of his retirement years living on Hilton Head Island, SC. He enjoyed golfing, gardening, woodworking, traveling and church activities.
Charlie is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Mary Ann Hannah; his daughter Wendy Russell and his son in law David Russell and grandchildren Aaron and Hope Russell, all of Gainesville, GA; his daughter in law Tisha Hannah and grandchildren Seth Hannah and his wife Jamie of Washington, DC and Joshua, Emma, Nathan and Ella Hannah, all of Monroe, NC; his sister Faye Crispin and her husband Bud of Daretown, NJ; and his brother Joseph Layman, Jr. and his wife Lois of King, NC. He was predeceased by his parents Charles Henry Hannah, Netta "Peg" Layman and Joseph Layman, Sr and his son, Todd Hannah.
Services will be held on Monday, December 30, 2024, all at the Pittsgrove Presbyterian Church, 312 Daretown Road, Elmer, NJ 08318. There will be a visitation starting at 10 AM leading to the funeral service at 11 AM. Interment will follow the service in the church cemetery.
