Charles Henderson

Charles Henderson, 67, of Lawtey, Florida, passed away on December 13, 2025, in Lawtey. Born on March 8, 1958, in Lawtey, Charles was a lifelong resident whose life was deeply rooted in his family, faith, and community.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Henderson Sr. and Estelle Henderson; his sister, Penny Henderson Whitley; and his sister-in-law, Sharon Bright.
Charles leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Tereatha Henderson; his children, Charles Henderson Jr., Charles Henderson III, Christopher Henderson, Cedrick Henderson, and Jasmine Henderson; his stepchildren, Jennette Albertie, Jennifer Albertie, Angie Hill, Tywann Mills, and Mikel Bright; and his many grandchildren.
He is also survived by his siblings, Jacqueline Scott, Geraldine Ford, Brenda Henderson, Walter Henderson Jr., and Tony Henderson Sr.; his brothers-in-law, Leon Bright, Charles Footman, Tony Bright, and Mark Bright; along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will forever hold him in their hearts.
Visitation will be held Friday from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Funeral services will take place Saturday at 1:00 PM at Mt. Zion AME Church, 2229 Lake Street, Lawtey, Florida. Cremation will follow the service.
