Charles "Chuck" Jenkins, age 61, of Wilmington, passed away peacefully Saturday, July 26, 2025, at Hospice of Dayton. He was surrounded by his loving family.

He was born November 15, 1963, in Wilmington, the son of the late Charles and Emily (Hottinger) Jenkins.

Chuck was a 1982 graduate of East Clinton High school and was self-employed as an electrician, had worked at Hood Packaging and most recently had worked for Universal Transportation Systems. Chuck had a zest for life and loved unconditionally. He enjoyed golfing, fishing and hunting.

Chuck is survived by his loving wife and soulmate of 25 years, Becky (Grooms) Jenkins. Surviving siblings include Cindy Schaublin, Chris (Beth) Jenkins, and Porter (Bobbi) Jenkins; children, Jessica Phillips, Michael (Realynn) Jenkins, Angela Jenkins and Melanie (Alexander) Rickey; Numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many friends. Chuck was so thankful for his Earth Angels; especially his daughter-in-love (Summer Howard) for all their love and support during his time of need. He loved and cherished each and every Angel. Chuck was preceded in death by his parents and his brother-in-law, Kenneth Schaublin II. The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at Brown Funeral Home, Wilmington. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 am.
