Charles E. Keirsey Jr "Eddie", age 74, passed away on May 21, 2024. Beloved husband of Suzanne C. of 19 years. Loving father of Walter Keirsey (deceased), Matt Keirsey (Karly), and Josh Keirsey (Amy). Dear grandfather of Thomas, Stephanie, Harper, and Emma Keirsey. Great grandfather of TJ Keirsey. Son of the both late Charles E. and Lois (nee Emery). Brother of Linda Keirsey, Susan Williams, Gary Keirsey (deceased), John Keirsey (deceased), and Scott Keirsey.
He was a beloved spouse, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Family was the most important thing to him. He was a big sports fan and loved to play sports himself, especially bowling. He was an avid reader, who always had a book with him. He retired after 43 years with General Motors.
He served in the U.S. Airforce during the Vietnam War as a K-9 Handler.
VISITATION on WEDNESDAY MAY 29 from 4 to 8 PM at YURCH FUNERAL HOME, 5618 Broadview Rd. Parma, OH 44134. BURIAL AND SERVICE on THURSDAY MAY 30, 2024 at 1:45 PM at OHIO WESTERN RESERVE NATIONAL CEMETERY.
